If your library interested in making your resources accessible to all patrons? Then join us for an informative discussion of the benefits of EEAAPs. The pandemic helped to emphasize how important online access to resources are to users who have no other way of obtaining library materials. However, material must be accessible for all users, including those with disabilities. EEAAPs (Equally Effective Alternate Access Plans) are an effective means of ensuring that there are alternative procedure in place that will enable library users with physical and visual disabilities to access materials.
By the end of this webinar, the participant will be able to:
  • Delineate the necessity of an EEAAP for libraries
  • Provide examples of EEAAP implementation in libraries
  • Describe steps to implement an EEAAP
