A two-part webinar series taking place on Wednesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:30pm Eastern/1:30pm Central/12:30pm Mountain/11:30am Pacific each session.
How do you draft a strategic plan that is cohesive, distinctive to your organization, and developed through an equity lens? During this two-part workshop, join Joy L. Fuller, author of Strategic Planning for Public Libraries, and DEI practitioner Christina Fuller-Gregory as they provide participants with hands-on opportunities to explore the steps required to develop an all-voices approach to assessing and addressing the strengths and needs of your community.
The first session will introduce using strategic planning for public libraries as a framework. Participants will learn the important steps that define a successful strategic planning process.
During the second session, participants will discover methods for applying an equity lens to the strategic planning steps learned during the first session. They will be encouraged to consider their individual libraries and challenged to develop a plan of action for creating a throughline between their DEI and strategic planning efforts.
