During this interactive three-part webcast series, authors and editors of ACRL’s Ethnic Studies in Academic and Research Libraries will provide a platform for enhanced discussion around Ethnic Studies and librarianship. Participants will appraise library support for Ethnic Studies programs/departments, either personally or collectively based on presented models, and weigh the importance of enhanced support of these programs/departments to their library and patrons. We’ll discuss the differences between Ethnic Studies support and DEI work and will highlight why this is important. Webcast series registrants will receive a complimentary ebook copy of Ethnic Studies in Academic and Research Libraries.Webcast One: Liaison Work
