A PLA 2026 Virtual Conference On-Demand Webinar
In 2025 the Seattle Public Library replaced its long-standing Rules of Conduct with a new Community Use Agreement that better reflects the library's values of equity, inclusion, and belonging. This on-demand webinar takes attendees through the steps taken by the cross-disciplinary staff team to listen to communities most affected by racial and social inequities, the process and pitfalls of developing the new policy and related safety strategies, and the implementation and training program.
Recorded live during the PLA 2026 Virtual Conference, April 1–3, 2026.
